Great sound but can't send songs on CD

I wanted to keep this because of the great sound quality. I do like being able to redirect one song to the next on the CD player though. It does not have this function.

Portable stereo Sony

The radio is very clean, the radio plays our old cassettes well. The sound quality when listening to music is okay, it doesn't have the rich, deep tones of our old wooden cabinet speakers.

Why won't my music CDs play?

I hope it's just an accident but I just opened my Sony and it refuses to play any of my ten or so music CDs. Get "no CD". I cleaned up the player, played the sound very quickly on the first try, and went straight to the ERR message.

With all these benefits, my Sony Boom Box is still a good buy!

I bought a Sony boom box to listen to my gospel music and I am very happy with it. I was surprised that it comes with all these extra features. It's a very affordable price and a good brand name that I know.

Sounds good! - Boomboxes

It's smaller than me in the photo but the sound quality is as good as my last LARGE boombox. I just connected it to my speaker (using an Atech aux cable) and bluetooth. and I kicked my husband out of the room hahaha! I can finally use my large cassette collection! I couldn't get enough of my Christmas present.

Sony is still releasing their boomboxes, but the quality has really gone downhill.

I got what I expected: a working device. The sound quality is disappointing. But the fact that I can take the device with me everywhere is a plus. I used to have Sony boom boxes that seemed to last forever. And the sound quality was excellent. Unfortunately this is no longer the case.

No remote control

I bought this for my 87 year old mother. She figured her retro Victrola combo of CD, radio, turntable and cassette wouldn't work. It turns out it worked. She just couldn't turn it on and select game mode because the device was in a hard-to-reach corner. When she saw this new boombox she liked its size as it is easy to carry. However, the controls, particularly the power button, are hard to see and find, not particularly user-friendly, and the sound is okay for a boombox. However, it serves itsโ€ฆ

Nice little Sony radio!

What is. It's a nice little boombox that plays cassettes I don't have, CDs I don't have anymore, and plays MP3s well which is why I bought it. I connect my phone to it via the input jack and it works great. I burned some MP3 discs on my computer. One is just a bunch of MP3s and the other I created in folders with each artist's name. Everyone worked fine. The Folder CD was much easier to use to find specific music. You must finalize the CD when burning it, otherwise it won't work. Again, youโ€ฆ
