We wanted something small but comfortable for our cat.The biggest cons to me are:-There is no lid or handle which makes transporting it very difficult unless you empty and refill it every time.-If you don’t replace the litter often enough, you will have to scrape the litter from the bottom. We recently moved across country with our kitty in tow. Driving 10 hours a day, we needed a solution for kitty. This worked perfectly! Got out of the car, added a little litter, let her do her thing, dump on the side of the road. Done!

We originally bought this because we are starting to pursue an RV lifestyle and wanted to be able to take our cat with us. On our first trip the box worked great for the limited space we had. The cat knew exactly what it was for and did the best she could but the box is a bit small for an adult size cat. She had to figure out how to move the dirt from outside the box and then step into it to do her business. Where we had it placed helped to confine the sand but she had a hard time keeping it in

This is a great product for constant travel but the black interior makes it hard to see poop smears. And it's also hard to clean without a scrub brush.
