Fastening could be better

Good material quality. Assembly is easy. The clip on the mechanism is quite tricky as you have to pull on the elastic that holds the clip firmly in place to attach it to the round seat post. I find that a layer of tape on the bar helps the rubber band grip the bar better. I will try and update. At this point it is not tight enough to prevent spinning on a smooth cylinder, which is a common technical problem with cylinders. It's really close to perfection and can be modified to keep it from…

I like modular design and easy implementation

I like modular design and easy implementation. For me the compatibility is broken when mounting on a full suspension mountain bike with a dropper post. For the seatpost clamp, I am forced to mount the hardware lower where the seatpost is out of the way. Okay, now that I've lowered the clamp on the seatpost, by adjusting the angle I can raise the rear end higher. but not enough to lift the wing and get it out of the way. This is an issue because the FS travel will interfere with the tire when…

I liked it and was able to adjust it to fit my rack

I use a Mud Shovel 6.5 front fender as well as the rear. I love them so much because they are light and strong like they should be and they really protect me from dirt, mud and puddles. I liked the rear fender so much that I put off buying a rack because I didn't want to lose the fender guard (plus I love the fun paint splatter pattern). Eventually I needed a trunk, but I was able to mount the fender to the luggage rack. It helps keep my panniers clean because those knobby wide tires really…

Extremely poor mount design

It's lightweight with good coverage and it works with my eyedropper. A fatal flaw is the fastening mechanism. I sent the first one back because after only a few hours of use it broke in the binding mechanism when I threw my leg over the bike and kicked it lightly. The next one broke after just a few hours of use when I was tightening it to keep it from dangling. I have all kinds of gear and have been climbing, skiing and mountain biking for decades. I've had numerous other fenders (sks, pdw…

Pros

Easy installation, offers pretty good coverage.

was easy to install and position. The fender looked good on my bike and didn't weigh at all. Now for the cons. The fender was difficult to tighten to stay in place.2. The strap that holds the wing stretches and then moves.3. The latches holding the wing are not durable. The fender came off while driving through the woods. I don't know when or where the fender came loose, but now I don't have a rear fender. Update 2-8-2019 The company sent me a new grand piano. This time, as you can see in the…
