Didn't help my back pain at all. Basically, I bought it to not be stuck at my desk for more than 8 hours a day. This works to pull your shoulders back, but they're still hanging together. I needed something to support my middle back, between my shoulder blades or just below. It's nowhere near the area where you bend over and risk getting into a "hunchback" pose. I returned it for another brace that helps straighten the entire back and assists in improving posture.

My analyst at work was slouched in front of his computer, which made him look lazy and less productive when our manager stopped by to check on us. I got him to wear this posture corrector and he immediately looked at least 30% more productive because he's now sitting upright in the correct position: shoulders back, head over neck over spine. As a middle manager, if you need to increase productivity of junior staff, posture correctors are definitely an option.

I would say just don't buy it. I wanted to try a different design than the usual X design because the velcro on them irritates armpit skin. This "posture corrector" doesn't fix anything, it's not as easy to adjust as other posture correctors, and the extra webbing has nowhere to go so it just dangles very noticeably.
