This premium stainless steel coffee infuser is perfect for brewing a (large 22 oz) cup of coffee in the morning. No filter means very little cleaning, just a tap and rinse most days. The extra fine sieve allows me to use even the finest ground coffee. Although I love my Nespresso machine and Coffee Gator, I use them every day. It is also ideal for spring camping. Can't recommend it more.

At first the filter lasted several months, then the water leaked. I've only had my second filter a week and it's doing the same thing - even from the outside you can see it's clearly sealed - I strongly suspect they sent me a returned filter which was repaired to no avail. Very sad I loved the coffee and the convenience and until then I couldn't be happier. Update: Received an unsolicited replacement - works great - consider this a 5 star review.

I love Coffee Gator products! I already have two Coffee Gator Pour Over travel mugs and heck I just added another one to my cart as it's only $2 more than the price of this filter alone! I was distracted. I've been using travel mugs daily for the past two years and have noticed that the filters stop working after a while no matter how carefully I clean them. The drip slows to a crawl and then it takes forever to make a cup of coffee! Replacing this filter solved the problem!

Very well made. Filters great. The first time I used it, I noticed that the water filtered very slowly. At first I thought the filter was too tight, but when I lifted it out of the cup it started draining faster. It turned out that the rim of the filter fits snugly over the rim of my Yeti stainless steel cup and prevents air from escaping. If I pour the filter halfway up, then set it on the mug and pour the rest in, it's able to steep just long enough to make a perfect cup of coffee.

I found it was not possible to press the funnel to dump the flour. With my original funnel, after a few months of use, the outer frame came loose. The outer frame is pressed against the inner frame to hold the fine mesh screen in place. With the new funnel, I decided to lightly scrape off the sanding residue and then rinse the funnel under running water, shaking the funnel back and forth to remove the sanding residue. I just wanted to try a metal strainer instead of a paper strainer without much money to see if there is a difference. Turns out I could end up using my electric coffee pot to heat water to the right temperature (instead of the microwave, which can bloat) and then pour it through that filter into my travel mug.
