Do not buy this item. I spent my money on this and when I send my car to a mechanic this product does not work. Can not be used on my scion tc 2008 then I lose money on this product, my time on mechanic and extra money on mechanic because I have to buy another one and also pay mechanic again. DO NOT BUY.

This item will NOT fit a 2003 Toyota Matrix XRS without the use of a grinder to give the parking brake rod the correct depth. Even then it snaps in easily and applies the parking brake. Also, the cable connection is in the wrong place, resulting in partial braking even after fully releasing the throttle under the center console. A badly copied fake. Don't waste your time like me.
