Fixie straps are a lot better than the originals. I've tried a few pairs of the original version of these belts and love them. Except in case the metal bracket ruptured from the torque applied to it. They are much stronger and easier to install.

I use it on my rigid gear. Much better than the old toe clips. I can wear my slim All-Star Converse or thick-soled dress shoes to work without worrying about fitting because they're designed to fit snugly when you put your foot on the pedal.

Great product. Very easy to install. I use this product to keep the middle of my foot over the pedal. Unfortunately, due to age, I can no longer keep the ball of my foot over the pedal without pain. This seller offers a very fair price and fast shipping.

Less than a month after use, the front of the left pedal strap broke. Luckily I ride with the front brake but if it were my only source of stopping power I would be writing this review from my hospital bed. Sure, I weigh 230 pounds, but the force I use to slingshot isn't very different from that of a smaller rider. 3 stars for prompt customer service providing a replacement. I will update the review when the new band holds up.

I use them to go to school. Makes driving more efficient. At $20, it's up to you whether you think it's important or not. Once you've got them in place, you can pull them out easily, but my power grips like looking down at the ground (gravity easily explains this), so here's the thing. Not wanting to buy special shoes and pedals and not wanting to hurt myself if I fall (like with other toe straps) this was the obvious choice. I'm very satisfied with this product.
