Calipers πŸ‘ Rotors πŸ‘ Brake Pads πŸ‘Ž

Rotors fit my Jeep. The calipers fit my jeep. The pads did not match my jeep. I had to go with different blocks. The pads that came with this kit weren't even shaped to fit the rotor or caliper. I wasted a good hour of my life trying to figure out if it was operator error on my part. I've done 100 brake jobs and these pads were by far the most disappointing. As a result, I bought regular pads from a local car dealership. The Auto Zone Pads fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Proprietary carbon fiber ceramic materials increase the strength of the typical ceramic compound used in brake pads to handle heavier loads
Cons
  • Expensive

I paid so much for nothing!

I was thrilled to get them and even share them on the Jeep Group pages with nearly 100,000 Jeep owners! totally out of specification and will lead to an accident! They don't rub or sit on the hub. I have a fully stock 1990 Jeep Wrangler and they will not mount properly. I'm not happy at the moment. I lost almost $300 on what isn't worth anything to me! I need a refund or something. To fit them I have to spend an additional $300 for a new set of steering knuckles and wheel bearings WHICH WERE…

Cons
  • Slightly torn

Wrong rotor size!: Brake system

Product looks very good. I bought a front kit for my '99 Jeep Cherokee. With discs, calipers and brakes. I had several problems. Caliper bolts are metric, stock bolts are standard. Had to buy a coiled coil kit and re-bolt the hardware on my caliper bracket. The second problem is that the caliper you bought does not fit. It's too deep and rubbing against the bracket. I've already called customer service and the woman I spoke to needs a caliper part number. I informed her it was part of a kit I…

Pros
  • Red powder coated calipers are coated with an easy to clean powder coating that resists rust and corrosion and prolongs the life of the caliper
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Better option than OEM

This kit is a lot better than the original parts, especially if you have a lifted Jeep. This kit was used on a 1997 Cherokee XJ 4.5 stroke in 33. Installation was easy, like any other caliper and rotor replacement. Braking distances are now much shorter and the front drops when you brake hard. I recommend following the instructions during the break-in period. On one side the rotors are drilled and slotted and marked with a small label to indicate which side of the car they are to be fitted on…

Pros
  • Perforated and slotted zinc plated brake discs for maximum rust protection
Cons
  • Almost never
