Power Probe PP3LS01 Red Circuit_Testers Review

This is a great product. I bought one of these power probes over 20 years ago and until I bought this new one it was still working fine until the reset switch stopped working. So this time I got a bigger set with some nice features, I really think this product should be in every person's tool arsenal, especially if you have to work with trailer electrical systems, cars and stereos.

Words cannot describe how useful this power probe is. It was hard to get hold of this as a test light, but once I started using it it became invaluable. The electrical issues I had on the cam trailer stunned me with a standard test lamp, but when I plugged in a current probe I solved the problem within an hour. I could go on and on about how great this thing works, but I encourage you to get it ASAP!

has not yet been used but the description of this kit should state that it comes with an additional 20ft extension. I ordered an additional extension for this, which was not needed. I will keep it as I am working on a van and sometimes an extra might be needed but 40ft is enough now I can walk 60 total. That being said, I hope this works as well as advertised. i need to watch the video so i can see all the features and what i can do with the device

How did I live without this? I bought this to fix my boat trailer wiring. My trailer has hidden wiring which makes it even more fun to find opens/shorts. While I could and did use my multimeter to test, I stumbled across a video of someone using one of these to test the wiring and I heard angels chanting. I've always wanted this tool. I have no idea why I waited so long for this. I've had it for a few weeks and it's already helped me solve a few electrical issues. I only wish I had gotten it sooner. I do ALL my work in my cars and am always there to help a friend with his car. It has a very nice design and the build quality is worth the price. I read the Power Probe reviews and I have a 2000 Mercedes ML320. I have obvious electrical problems so purchasing the Power Probe was a no brainer. This allowed me to test the passenger window motor while it was in the door. I wasn't expecting much from white LEDs, but I was wrong, very wrong. I purchased this VERY well done test kit in 2015. I've always made my own using a 12 volt light bulb and 10-14 gauge wire.
