Disappointing Upgrade for Automotive Brakes

As a result of using this product, I found that my braking power hasn't improved at all. In fact, my stopping distance seems even longer than before. The only pro I can think of is that installing it was easy. However, the cons are numerous. The product is way overpriced for such lackluster results. Don't waste your money on this disappointing brake upgrade.

Pros
  • Great stopping power and improved overall brake performance.
Cons
  • Some users have reported squeaking noises after installation.

Excellent brake pads. It's easy to do it yourself!

These ceramic brake pads are highly recommended. Not child's play at this price. Don't use the poor quality spring clips that come with it - they're not the same as the originals and are made of thinner metal that won't hold up if you hit a bump. So either use originals or buy original spring clips. It's easy to replace the brake pads on these VWs. Why pay $100 to $300 for an axle in a store? Pay $35 for pads and spend an hour of your time replacing them. Lots of tutorials on YT. Much luck!

Pros
  • Low-dust ceramic brake pads for clean wheels
Cons
  • Cleanliness

Keep your original spring clips.

So far after installation the pads have been great. No more noise and clogged rotors. There are two notable differences here. First, the wear indicator harness is thinner and the insulation is not as strong as the original. Second, and more importantly, are the 2 spring clips that are included. KEEP THE ORIGINALS! Don't waste your time with this. They are thinner and irregularly shaped to fit properly. Both jumped out during the bed process. The originals were still in good shape and stood as…

Pros
  • Designed for a shorter break-in time, better than originals
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
