They did great work while they worked.

Uses this on our 2001 Excursion 4x4. Got completely new pads, rotors and calipers on all four wheels. We use it to tow a trailer and it took 2 years for the front right caliper to work. Not bad for half the price of a Ford, but it still feels like two years isn't enough.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Don't hesitate to invest in some of them.

My stock calipers were pretty worn and sticky, the guides were sticking, they came with all new hardware and bolted on like a champ! There were original Ford castings that were coated in a fairly thick powder-based paint, although they would scratch. I just wish the cores were sent somewhere rather than sitting around unused.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Some trouble

Fine. good for calipers and parts

This is not a "performance" part. Basically, it's just a red powder-coated caliper. Both calipers that I received appeared to have been removed at some point during the restoration process, but before the coating process. I had to dremel a bit on both calipers in the area where the pads slide, otherwise they would not be usable. My regret is that I didn't just buy these parts locally to easily troubleshoot problems. Lesson learned.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Something different

They have been great so far but failed after <24 months.

Just installed, so far so good. Wow, 22 months later and another brake change. I misunderstood the warranty, the rotors are guaranteed for 3 years against cracking. For all other components only 90 days. Terrible warranty on brake components. These are not aftermarket calipers, they appear to be poorly rebuilt and painted as they became stuck and failed after running less than 20,000 miles in 22 months. Do not buy this product. I certainly wouldn't buy it again.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Safety

Looked good but didn't last long

Looks great when new. I installed them on a 2002 Ford Excursion. They are very good at stopping the truck. Make sure you set them correctly as left and right don't always match! Also, I had to buy them to replace the same calipers I had installed less than a year and a half ago. You're stuck in the back. I had to buy them as a set as they are not sold individually, which turned out to be good in the end as the second caliber jammed on the other side after 2 months! This may be more of an issue…

Pros
  • Easy to apply
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

No good, save your money. I gave them 3 chances.

I was trying to love the PowerStop brand. I gave them 3 chances. My first kit was installed on my 2005 Acura TL (another purchase but still relevant to this review). They looked great so I bought this set for my 2002 F-350. About 12 months later one of the Acura TL calipers got stuck and I replaced it thinking it might be a one time problem. Then it happened about 18 months later on my F-350. I was generally apprehensive about this brand at the time, but I gave PowerStop another chance. I…

Fantastic looking calipers fitted and ready to go.

The pads on the back of my 2002 F250 were worn out so I bought a new set of pads and rotors to match them. Power Slot 126.65071CSL Slotted Disc Power Slot 126.65071CSR Slotted Disc Hawk Performance HB303Y.685 LTS Brake Pads I did not initially look for new calipers as mine were in good condition and worked perfectly. Without thinking, I slammed on the brakes without putting the calipers back on the rotors, and a seal burst in one of them. Then I decided to throw some extra cash on the back and…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Slightly dented

The caliper came with a broken bolt. A screw secures the caliper to the bracket. When I received these calipers I was thrilled to put them on my F-350 (they look freaking awesome and blush a little through my blacked out wheels). I didn't look at all the parts before taking my old calipers off the truck. When I went to install them, I noticed that the screw head was unscrewed on the new brake calipers. It had enough head on the threads so we had to drill out the bolt to avoid damaging the…
