a leak. for braking system

I really want to love this product especially because of all the positive reviews. They look and feel solid. Unfortunately, after completing the installation, I noticed during the bleed process that BOTH calipers were leaking at the bleed screws. I'm not sure what the problem is but I will contact the manufacturer to try and resolve this issue.

A great way to improve your WJ Jeep's braking!

Finally installed! Bought to replace Teves style calipers and to mate with a PowerStop Z23 rotor and pad kit. The old Teves calipers have been removed and bolted on and even the brake lines have just been fitted! I know these two-piston calipers outperform the "sticky" Teves single-piston calipers and even look good with the red shining through the wheels.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Soft as silk. in calipers and parts

Purchased for my Grand Cherokee to replace a Callahan that has seized just 2 years after installation. The calipers and brackets are pretty easy to install and the braking is smooth and quiet. The slide pins were pre-lubricated with silicone grease, which is a plus. So far no problems worth mentioning, hopefully they will last for a long time after installing them for over two weeks. longer than other brand.

  • Certified
Cons
  • Faulty

Buyer 2nd time but not willingly

Purchased in 2017, 2 years later and in 2019 the caliper pin size was adjusted and the brake disc and pad were removed from one side. Yes, I lubricated the 2017 pins well with high temperature caliper grease. Out of anger I bought a new set of pads and rotors and against my better judgment I bought the same set of calipers again - just because buying that set was cheaper. I think we will find out in 2021 if this was a mistake.

with amazing stopping power

Thought I'd try Power Stop when my original brakes aren't working properly. I've paired them with slotted and drilled rotors and ceramic brake pads. Then I found out what "SMOOTH" means! The durability and design exceeded my expectations with amazing stopping power. Now I'm thinking of installing them on my other machines. Excellent price. Excellent performance! Broke after a few months of use.

Purchased in June 2017. In early 2018 the car showed signs of caliper deflection (pedal vibration). In March 2018, a safety check revealed extremely uneven lining wear and deformed rotors. These calipers failed after a few months of brief use. Pistons will bind and not retract properly, causing excessive wear and heat. Lousy calipers were pulling out the rotors due to excessive heat, causing the rotors to warp. Very dissatisfied with this product.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Only available in black

Looks and feels great

Bought these complete with ceramic pads and perforated and slotted rotors for my 2001 Grand Cherokee Jeep. They look and feel great. Very easy to install and fix without problems. When purchasing new brake discs, first clean the brake discs with brake parts cleaner or soap and water and be careful not to get grease on the pads during installation. When you put them on for the first time, they will make a little noise and the wheel will wobble a little. You must follow the break-in procedure…

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Low repairability
