Type of review

Charged battery twice, now has failed completely and will not recharge. They fit, but poorly in Makita charger. I am now contacting company in China for replacement or refund. I did get a refund for one battery. Easy and fast. Other battery is still working. Only charged once. Follow up. Second battery has died. Charged maybe 5-6 times total. Never let charge on battery run down completely before recharge, usually recharge at 40%. I will not buy again. My original Makita batteries are still…

Pros
  • Built-in shock absorbing features protect the battery,High quality standards,Integrated microchip prevents overcharging and lengthens battery life
Cons
  • Inadequate power supply for heavy-duty tasks

Went dead after two summers of light use

I bought two Waitley BL-1850B 5.0 AH batteries for my Makita tools in late May 2020. They worked in Summer 2020 and 2021. Very light use. Less than 10 uses each. I charged them 100% and left them next to the charger in July 2021. I needed to blow some leaves in November 2021 and neither would charge. both showed faults. I will have to throw them away. The original Makita 4.0 AH battery is going strong. no deterioration. I am very disappointed.

Pros
  • Lightweight design: The BL1850B-2 batteries are lightweight, making them easy to carry around and use on the job
Cons
  • Inconsistent performance in colder climates

No Customer service

Co. does not stand behind its products . One battery went bad. I sent it back because they were going to replace.it. Nothing after a month. Costed me $14 to sent it.

Pros
  • LED percentage remaining battery indicator,Alows user to monitor battery charge,Avoid excessive use and improve working life
Cons
  • Not waterproof

Good Quality Batteries

These batteries are holding up well although it's only been a few months. They hold a charge longer than the OEM 3Ah batteries. Time will tell as to durability, but as satisfied thus far.

Pros
  • Increased efficiency
Cons
  • The batteries have been known to malfunction

Numbers rather than bars a plus.

Batteries fit and charge as they should. I have Makita 36v equipment that uses the two battery system. The batteries spend down at different rates and when one reaches at or about 20% the equipment starts a warning stall. It's really helpful to see the available power in numeric form by percent, rather than the less informative bar display. With the numbers, monitoring which battery of the two is lowest makes swapping out much less of a chore, as it is usually the case, that only one battery at

Pros
  • I own a lot of Makata tools that use this type 18v.Been using for a while and no problems.
Cons
  • Battery life decreases quicker than expected

3 months in and already bad

Doesn't snap into charger well, but got past that issue. 3 months of light use and one pack is already DOA. Won't show a charge and the charger says it is toast. I didn't expect it to be as good as the OEM, but I expected better than this

Pros
  • With a high-capacity battery, you won't have to constantly swap out dead batteries, so you can get more work done in less time
Cons
  • The battery drains quickly even when it’s not in use

Stopped working after 2nd charge.

One of the two batteries stopped accepting a recharge after the second time it was charged on a Makita charger. Charge indicator stays at 15%.

Pros
  • High quality battery provides more capacity, More running time.Products are CE certified
Cons
  • Lack of adequate charge indication

Great battery, at a fraction of the price.

Have tried many generic batteries for my Makitas. Some are good, some are horrible, but these are absolutely incredible! I build country furniture for a company that distributes all over the Southeast. I drive 3000 Screws A-day and the same AML of counter sink holes. I've only spattery is for just 2 years now Can I can normally run 3 days on a charge! I run 2 of them each day in 2 separate impact drivers and after 2 years they still work like the day I bought them. The key to veneries tended…

Pros
  • Great Batteries! Definitely would buy again!
Cons
  • One of the batteries died after 2 charges

Big Mikita Fan for my opinion

I have owned Mikita products for 20+ years but their batteries come at a premium. The circuit board in the batteries fail. These replacement batteries have been excellent so far and I really like the charge indicator on the side that you can press and check the charge level. They fir great in the charger as well as the device.

Pros
  • Battery Packs
Cons
  • Inconsistent performance

Happy with purchase

Seam to perform well good value to keep older tools alive. Having a little trouble with fit on drill and charger a little force and everything goes together.

Pros
  • LED battery indicator
Cons
  • The battery design is outdated

This battery only lasted 15 months.

Battery only lasted 15 months, now it won’t take a charge. I always kept it charged and it was never abused. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Durable design
Cons
  • The tool's performance declines with the battery's power level

Nice looking product, BUT.

Nice looking product that came in a nice box, BUT it did not slide in to my tools or charger all the way "in". I took a close look at the OEM Makita battery compared to this product and the yellow connector is not centered correctly. Thus it will not dock as it should.Sorry, I thought I could save a few bucks, but at the end I costed me valuable time.I will not purchase again.

Pros
  • So far so good, one month in.
Cons
  • Incompatible with some chargers

Great value 👍 - my new review

I've had these for bout 6 months now and they are still working great. I'm not sure how they last under heavy daily use but so far for me they have been a great value and I've had no problems at all.

Pros
  • Great price, just got them, came with 3/4 charge.Working so far, will update in the future.
Cons
  • The batteries are not compatible with all tools

So far these are excellent batteries, but I have not had years to use them. Hopefully they last for years like my original Makita batteries have. I will say that the price is very attractive, and the digital indicator on the back actually is much easier to understand and read than the Makita stock batteries.

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • Not shock-resistant

Compatible with Makita.

100% compatible with my Makita XCU03 chainsaw and Enegitech 18V Battery Charger DC18RD. And it has percentage displays for the amount of charge on the battery. This is a nice touch.

Pros
  • Last much longer than originals. I like the charge remaining % display.
Cons
  • Poor battery charge retention

Good value after 4 months of use

I have used these now for 4 months in my weed trimmer and reciprocating saw. They definitely hold a charge longer than the 4Ahr Makita batteries. Good value.

Pros
  • This product does the job just as Makita brand
Cons
  • Slow charging time

Seem to work great, didn't fit perfectly on the charger

Bought these for a Makita drill and driver set, seem to work great, lot's of juice. However, they doing fit perfectly on the Makita branded charger, seems like a molded plastic issue. They require some extra effort and tinkering to get them to align and charge properly. Not a deal-breaker, just something to be aware of. Not able to speak to longevity, but the first few times i've used them they seem great. Would purchase again.

Pros
  • Pilas igual de buenas que las originales malita recomendado por mi:)
Cons
  • Limited warranty period

Mixed Review for my opinion

I purchased 2 of these batteries. I have been using one mostly. The second I used as a backup battery. It has been charged three times since I purchased it in November last year. On the third charge the charger was giving me the error that means the control board in the battery is faulty. The other battery I use as my main battery is still working so that is why I have mixed feelings about it. I was charging all of my batteries in preperation for what is now hurricane Dorian since these have a…

Great savings. good for me

So far I haven't found anything to dislike. It's too soon to discuss longevity. If these keep functioning the way they have thus far, this is a great money saver over the name brand.

Pros
  • Love this
Cons
  • Quality issues with some batches

Value alternative: my feedback

Got these for my makita cordless tools. drills, drivers, recip saw - to supplement my Makita batts.Nice affordable alternative to makitas $$$.Had another set of Waitleys for 2 years, one just conked out, so good longevity and time for another pair for me.I will say every one has same fit issue, a bit too snug which makes it difficult to remove them from tool. Still worthwhile over all.

Pros
  • Improved compatibility: These batteries are designed to be compatible with a wide range of tools, ensuring that you can use them with your existing equipment
Cons
  • The battery could overheat and cause damage
