Enhanced Z36 Truck and Tow Front Brake Pads by Power Stop Review

Revain says they will fit my car but they don't. Due to shortages across the country, I had to buy pads from a retailer for $$$. thanks for nothing

The brake pads arrived on time and there were no problems installing them. With over 100 miles on them I can tell my worn OWM pads from new ones. The attack is even, without jerking and damping.

I love Powerstop pads and discs. They work great and little dust, whether it's an everyday car, race car or tow truck. They are amazing. My only issue with them is that they are all made in China. That doesn't stop me from using or recommending them, but I want them to be made somewhere where labor laws really protect workers' rights. But of course excellent braking equipment.

The rubber seals are clearly visible in the photo on Revain. There is no photo on the packaging and there were no seals in the box. Missing seals are the reason for the bad rating. Otherwise I found that PowerStop has very good products. My GM dealer said that on the GMC Sierra 3500 it is important to replace the seals when the pads are changed. I specifically ordered this kit to replace oil seals, gaskets and pads.

Brake pads received but due to winter weather they could not be fitted until this week. When I removed the wheel and the old pads, it turned out that the pads I received were the wrong size. Although the seller clearly stated when I placed my order that they fit my Suburban, they do not as they are slightly 2 inches longer than the caliper. buy the right pads.

If I could put a zero, I would. Installed it on my 2012 Silverado 2500. I put pads on the procedure and those pads creak every time you stop once they warm up. I tried embedding them a second time with NV with no improvement. Back to regular pads. It's garbage. I don't recommend them to anyone. I bought some to mount on the back although I didn't need them and never installed them. I couldn't imagine the surround sound of squeaky brake pads.

I own a small auto repair shop and service my brakes several times a week. I use Z36 pads in most of my commercial vehicles and have not had any complaints so far. I installed these pads on a 2016 GMC 2500HD in November 2020. Today I changed the oil in the car and the customer was impressed by the braking power even with the truck loaded.
