Inexpensive and works great

Worked well and disconnected the AC lines so I could change them. Anyone who says they torched the wrong way shouldn't understand what they're talking about.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

The price is right and the quality looks pretty good

A new set of specialized tools that I haven't used yet. looks like mfg. Okay, but how they work has yet to be determined. The price is right and the quality looks very good

I recommend trying a different product.

Didn't work. The outside diameter/thickness of the part inserted into the pipe is incorrect. Trying to use this thing was hell. I assembled the parts using a hard plastic tube and a pocket knife. It was very frustrating.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Bought for my '95 Bronco as a replacement for the .

Bought for my 95 Bronco to replace the fuel filter. To get the tool into the slot I had to use a bench grinder to shorten the smaller side by about 8 inches. After that was done, it was still a bit difficult to get into the plug.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive

Works great in A/C line repair tools

I have mixed feelings about this tool. On one hand, I hate that I had to buy this thing in the first place. However, after playing with plastic disconnect tools for too long to disconnect the fuel line on my '97 Ford Explorer, this one did the job in about 10 seconds. Seems very well done. Definitely a potential "buy for life".

Worked great for an in cab air conditioning repair

These were recently used on a Nissan Quest '99 minivan. These tools did the job very well and easily. I was able to disconnect the lines to replace the o-rings and battery. I just followed the instruction manual on how to use it. I also used them in a 2001 Nissan Quest for the same purpose. I no longer need them, so I can't comment on durability. For me they worked great and saved a lot of money at the store.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Some small items

Works with acceptable quality

A complete set of spring lock release tools at this price point and when used correctly they work very well. I would like to point out that the main reason auto manufacturers use springlock fittings on fuel systems is for general safety. If these systems were easy to disassemble, there would be many emergency room visits per year for people suffering hand, face and eye injuries with the possibility of frostbite from blast force, as these systems can be easily disabled while still charged and…
