You will need to reconnect the connector on this pump or the connector on your truck. After doing this I was able to test the new pump and make sure it was working properly before installing it.

Bought this fuel pump in November 2019. It was decommissioned at the end of July 2021. The warranty period is admittedly only 1 year but to be honest a fuel pump that lasts less than 2 years is very disappointing. that the product corresponds to the description. Fit perfectly and worked well until the day it just stopped.

Works great as many said the wiring was ripped off but figured it out. Used on my front tank for a 93 Ford F-150 XLT 5.8. What worked for me is the color coding. My truck's wiring harness was orange, red, blue, purple. I hooked the braid in the following way. Orange to black, red to gray, blue to purple, and purple to black with a white line. Works perfect

1994 Ford F150 XLT 5.8. It was easier to pull the bed and work from above. We went the cheap route, so we'll see how long that takes. I cut the connector off the old pump and connected it to the new gusset so I didn't have to cut the new pump wires or the original frame connector. Started right after installation. In my case I had to reuse the original locking ring. For this reason and booking to four stars.

I hooked the braid in the following way; Orange to black, red to gray, blue to purple, and black to black with a white line. Works, so I think it's correct. Followed one of the lists of other people who listed them. I bought 4 different sizes of fuel line disconnect tool but they didn't fit. Everything was too big so it took me an hour to disconnect the fuel lines. Offer to purchase release tools up to 1/4 inch.
