Great starter in starter

Works 100x better than oe on my 1973 Dodge Dart 318, now starts first time, good price and 2 days delivery, the only thing that bothers me is the location of the terminals.

Do a little research first.

Didn't clean my 10 year old Headman manifolds. Not even a big hammer was enough. I installed a stock starter with a heat shield and sent this unit back. As popular as they are and since all different manufacturers share the same general design, even the most expensive ones, I'm pretty sure these are my headlines and not a start. I suspect a newer set of headers would be appropriate otherwise there would be more complaints.

Problem solved in spare parts

This high torque starter solved my hot start problems. A smaller size provides better clearance when using headers. This upgrade is a must for an old car with a lot of power. Remember you can find a starter from a newer car to match your classic car. It is said to be the same type of high torque starter. If you can find one that fits your car, it will cost you a lot less. For that I gave 4 stars.
