good grinding wheel

Nice but not perfect. The hole is slightly enlarged, causing the wheel to wobble a little from its true position, but a quick pass with a diamond tool restored it to its true round condition and eliminated the slight vibration caused by the out-of-round wheel. Very smooth cut and leaves a very sharp edge on wood turning tools. Excellent investment.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Something different

Cuts fast, good workmanship.

Bought this wheel to sharpen wood lathes. My grinder had 80 and 36 grit wheels. I wanted to improve the quality of my tools. This wheel does a great job with a decent finish. With 100 grit it cuts HSS tools very quickly so now I plan to get another finer grit and use a 100 grit wheel as a grinding wheel. Good product!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Will be added later

Very wobbly for surface grinding wheels

Seems good for thin edge cuts but wears out very quickly. Will only use it at slower speeds to finish an edge on a chisel or blade. Swinging from side to side is very bad. As much as I tried to move the pucks around the wheel to compensate for the wobble, there was little improvement. I know it's a wheel because I can switch sides and the wobble follows the wheel. It's still serviceable, but it's disappointing that the $9 wheel is better balanced than this $30 wheel.

  • Easy to use

The quality is good but be careful what you buy.

yes it is an aluminum oxide grinding wheel. Yes, after receiving this wheel and installing it on my bench grinder I had to prime it like any other new wheel as no wheel could work perfectly on every grinder without fine tuning. It should be noted that this is better suited for finishing and final sharpening than gray AU/OX wheels. So use it accordingly and you will be happy.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Suitable for sharpening, not for grinding.

This wheel seems good for sharpening the edge of a tool or blade, but when you want to remove a large amount of metal it's too soft. I was a little disappointed in him but probably my fault. As a locksmith I'm used to a very hard grinding wheel to quickly remove metal, it's not. It is very soft and is clearly intended for sharpening, not metal removal. I wish they had a little more detail for those of us who aren't experts.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Pretty good

Worn out very quickly.

Bought because I've had good luck with other alloy wheels in the past even though they were gray instead of white. I liked the fact that the mandrel was the right size for my bench grinder without the need for plastic adapter sleeves. I didn't expect the wheel to be perfectly balanced and not wobble. The bike I received was acceptable to me in that regard. I was very surprised to find excessive wheel wear after just 10 minutes of rebar grinding. The floor under the coffee grinder was covered in

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • has flaws
