Total kommunyachya bullshit

Useless thing. The "2-1/2" side is not 2-1/2" inside or out. And same story with the "2-1/4" side. I have it on connectors on mine Tried table saw, planer, jointer, vacuum cleaner, dust collector, belt sander and spindle sander and it doesn't fit anywhere. Really cool work here guys. Keep up the good work.

Not suitable for connection to Shop Vac hose.

I was hoping the 2-1/4" end of this adapter would fit the end of a standard 2" industrial vacuum hose. when inserting. For my purposes, this adapter is unusable, although it is a quality product. If you want to connect a 2-1/2" ID hose to a 2-1/4" ID hose, this might work for you. I returned the item for a Revain credit. :(

Size 2.250 is .030 smaller. 2-7/32 not 2-1/2

2.250 size .030 small. Although it tapers to 2.258 at the flange, on most receivers it bottoms out before approaching the flange. I'll cut off the end to see if I can fit it, but I wouldn't buy this if I knew beforehand. Check out the prices.

Useless and shit.

As others have said, this is not for a shop vacuum like a finned or craft vacuum. I think I can heat it up and stretch it, but what a bummer. I am converting a shop vacuum into a bag filter. So I used masking tape to increase the small diameter. I then used epoxy to attach it to the wall of the vacuum bath. J b weld. I made a border on the inside for a bar where you can attach the bag. The installation works fine. I used a HEPA filter set from a hardware store (bag and filter set). I blocked…

No standard size (also not specified size)!

I rarely write reviews but I wanted people to know about this product. Neither the 2 1/2" nor the 2 1/4" are true to size; They are both about 1/16 inch smaller making this item totally unusable. The 2 1/4" side is too small to fit snugly in the end of the hose and the 2 1/2" side is too small for me to read other reviews saying it is was wrong too, but a lot of people misunderstand what they are for and tried to connect them to things other than hoses, so I took a chance. I lost. The reviewer…

In general, I have good experiences with other brands of connectors, so 2

does not fit the 2.5" end of my vacuum cleaner hose. I got it working by heating the end with a hair dryer until the plastic was malleable enough to flood the end, but out of the box it was probably 1mm smaller than my tubing. Fit (ie no friction fit at this end). I only have one tool with a 2.25" dust port, so I'm not sure if it's a tool or a fitting. I usually have good experiences with other brand faucets, so the 2.5" side of this faucet is definitely too small.

Nothing fits

I bought this to fit a small Oneida cyclone to my Ridgid shop vacuum. It's advertised as a 2 1/2 inch jack, but I couldn't connect to any of the various Ridgid compatibles I had. I expected it not to connect directly to Oneida's ports - and it doesn't. to other supposed 2 1/2" fittings or tubing I bought from Woodcraft who (I think) also sell Powertec fittings. It also doesn't fit standard PVC plumbing. It was missing anything from 1/8th 'to 1/4'". After all, I didn't use the ones I bought…
