I've used hooks and pre-installed brackets in a 2018 4Runner SR5 Premium and works great. (Didn't have to drill my new 2018 4Runner!)

The "sticky" parts are similar to those you can buy at a discount store. There is no glue at all and I never had to use it because the clips don't stick enough to secure the mesh. I will be purchasing double sided tape to attach to my truck.

I carry a variety of items in my 4Runner most of the year, from emergency kits to roadside assistance tools, camping gear, fishing gear, etc. This net helps prevent most small/loose devices fall out of my vehicle if not properly folded or shifted. Haven't stocked any products or equipment on a live network yet as most things would fall through without proper packaging. Recommended if you have a lot of stuff in the trunk and it fits in your car.

Good idea, but not for long. I fixed it in my TRD ORP 2019 using the existing hooks, but you need to add something below. I used some small carabiners in the bottom corners. Item not as described. I have an SR5 16 with a 3rd row. The net is carried on the back and can be easily attached to the pre-installed top hooks. There are loops on the bottom and there were hooks in the kit that were not the same as the photo. It is not possible to attach the hooks to the floor hinges without additional rigging and without additional mounting holes in my car if there are already hooks in the floor panel for that. The product itself is in perfect condition but I have absolutely no idea how to install it. I have hooks that are perfect for the top loops I have in my 4Runner. I'm assuming the glue cups that come with the product are for the loops, screws and hooks to attach the bottom loops (or the top ones if your car doesn't have one), but no instructions are included.
