Great addition to my home audio

After trying this preamplifier, I am very impressed with its performance. It enhanced the sound quality of my turntable amazingly well .The built quality is sturdy and durable, and it blends perfectly with my other electronics. The installation was a breeze, and it offers flexibility to switch between MM and MC cartridges. The only downside is that it's slightly pricier than other options available in the market. Overall, a great addition to my home theater system..

Terrible hissing and crackling started happening in my system.

The other reviews were pretty good and for the price I didn't expect it to be great. But the noise was so terrible that I changed the needle. Then I took it off the spin (which took away my volume control) just to look at it and yes it's clear (especially with the new needle). I bought it as an inexpensive preamp so I could temporarily use my amp as speakers for my turntable while I build the system I want. Really pretty terrible.
