When using a sharp knife to fit a window, it is best to hold the material with a squeegee and then cut with a sharp knife. This prevents the material from moving and provides a better cut/fit.

This roll of "confidential" foil is the worst I've ever bought. 1) does not stick to the window! It doesn't matter how clean or how much water you use unless you remove the protective film. Oh I! It sticks well! 2) useless for privacy. I can see my neighbors' windows clearly. I wouldn't rely on it at night.

I did exactly what the instructions said and everything looked perfect, but the next day everything was sizzling EVERYWHERE! Terrible. The back is pretty damn near impossible to remove, and it took forever to do. When I saw how it looked dried, I almost cried. I have placed so many of these over the years but this was by far the most disappointing. Absolute waste of time and money.

I was a bit frustrated at first because the plastic kept peeling off the glass door. Then I realized that it is necessary to remove a layer of plastic from the back! In total you need 4 rolls to cover the sliding doors. Two for each door.
