The material the paper is made of is very durable and works well with water. I wanted to hand polish a small rock I've had for over 30 years that I found in Saudi Arabia and this sandpaper improved what I had been doing by hand for years. I'm not done yet, but this is already the best gloss I've ever experienced. There are no complaints about the quality of the paper and its durability.

Great value for hard to find high grit sandpaper. Came in 2 sheets of each grit (3000, 5000, 7000) and arrived on time. I bought this product to sharpen my woodworking tools. I cut out a portion of each grain and glued it onto a 2" x 8" sheet, which worked really well. I took another strip and wrapped it around the wooden dowel rod to sharpen the curved surfaces. The product is well preserved after sharpening a set of tools and several kitchen knives. I will make another purchase once I run out

As advertised on thin paper, similar to thin wax paper. Great for knife blades, the best 3000+ grit sandpaper I've found for the job leaves a very mirror-like finish. I use double sided tape to stick it to a flat surface, I only use pieces of wood that I know are flat. Yes, this creates the feel of a raised micro-bevel, but if you plan to use a leather strap you still need to do the raised micro-bevel.
