Like. Pretty easy to use. Includes battery and spare. Has an on/off switch but also appears to turn on when in use and you can easily switch from inches to millimeters.

Great gadget for your car's toolbox. Accurately measures the remaining tire tread. Fast and easy to use. It is small and easy to store. It has a strong feeling. The dimensions are fairly close to one inch (25mm). Alternatively, you can measure the depth of the bolt hole or any hole. Pretty useful little device.

This depth gauge is incredibly easy to use. The buttons remind me of my digital calipers. Unpack, remove plastic strips to power it up, and off you go. It even comes with an extra battery! The transducer is very easy to zero and displays depth in inches or millimeters. One thing I don't like is that it turns on when you move it, even a little (like moving it). It would be better if it only responded to the power button, but that doesn't matter given the simplicity of its job.

It definitely works, but it's so sensitive that the slightest movement in any direction changes the reading. Also, its base is too narrow. So placing it perpendicular to the tire groove will leave too little plastic on the tire to keep it stable and level. I had to take a dozen or more measurements on each tire to get a good average. Overall, I got each front tire averaging 6.66mm between all 4 grooves, which is an 8.5/32. My handheld meter was between 8 and 9/32 and gave the same. It sure gets
