Thick yarn! - Yarn

Loved this yarn for its softness and thickness. Please note that the colors are very vivid and the image in Revain is accurate. However, due to the thickness, a little more yarn will be needed to complete the projects. However, it's worth it!

Pros
  • Machine washable for easy care
Cons
  • A long time ago

Lots of knots and loose segments.

Nice color, very soft. However, while crocheting I had to knit a few pieces together and suddenly I was at the end of the piece. Then I had to cut and connect several segments that were tied together very casually. Now they stick to the Bernat velor.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some variety

My new favorite yarn from Velvet!

I was skeptical but it really is a quality yarn! I prefer this yarn to Bernat. The yarn is much softer and doesn't fray in places, which I've often noticed with Bernat. I will definitely buy all my velvet yarn from this brand as I love weaving baby blankets out of it and my kids love making hats out of it. The only negative is that I would have liked a faster delivery.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

I didn't like this thread!

I really wanted to love this yarn but not really. I bought 9 skeins to make a quilt and 2 skeins were so uneven in texture that they left large streaks of rough patches. And I bought red yarn that left red streaks all over the workplace. Also, every time I had to knit 2 knots together, the yarn would fall off so much I would end up with cords! I was afraid to wash the finished quilt due to shedding, so I gave it to Goodwill.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
