Perfect for my B8.5 S4. Installation took less than 5 minutes. You'll need a thin pick or similar to pry the existing bar out, but installing a new one requires half the force to get it in place.

One day the original good stand stopped working and turned into a sluggish stick without any support. When working on the engine, I had to use a golf club to support myself. Ease of installation. Good quality. Push locking tab aside and insert into slot, close tab, done. Installation takes 5 minutes including removing the old one.

Perfect for my 2014 Audi S4. Super easy and quick assembly. You will need a small flathead screwdriver or a small pickaxe to do this. Before you start, it's best to rub the ends of the old strut to remove the grease and be careful of the little metal clips on the old strut as they will come loose and fly through the garage. It's better to only partially lift them until the head detaches from the ball, rather than trying to remove the clip completely.

To be honest it took longer to unpack than to fit in the car. Using a small flathead screwdriver, I undid the tab on the old one and removed it. Then I opened the tab on the new one, inserted it and closed the tab to lock it. Works great and haven't had any problems since I installed it about a month ago. Plus saved about $100 over what the dealer was trying to sell me. Highly recommended.

You definitely don't have to be a fat monkey to swap out this lift brace. I just went to You Tube to see if deleting a clip is easy. It did, and I was able to replace mine with a 2010 Audi S4 in less than 5 minutes. I would recommend that you hang the metal brackets on the OLD lift prop. Just in case you need a replacement part. I've had it installed for a few months now with no problems. You will not be disappointed with this product.
