The longest gutter in my house has been reinstalled. As some have written, they are difficult to install. I found I could get the job done with relative ease, starting in the middle after removing all but one or two of the old fasteners along one half at the end. Then repeat on the other half.

So if like me you're just thinking of replacing your broken hammer tips with these tags, don't worry. Or at least understand that you cannot install these brackets with the existing gutters due to the way these brackets attaches + gutter is installed behind the flashing + roof overhang. They really need to be added to the floor with the gutters and then screwed in once the gutters are in place.
