So if like me you're just thinking of replacing your broken hammer tips with these tags, don't worry. Or at least understand that you cannot install these brackets with the existing gutters due to the way these brackets attaches + gutter is installed behind the flashing + roof overhang. They really need to be added to the floor with the gutters and then screwed in once the gutters are in place. Although the price was great for them and they seem to be of great quality, I ended up returning them for screw-in spikes, which do their job well.
