fitted to 03 Ford F150 from 5.3. All lined up great, no problem, bought a sticky backed heat shield to attach to the bottom. As long as you like the reception. The truck shown seemed a bit sluggish but otherwise worked well with the new air intake. I just installed the throttle body gasket after a week of driving.

Using this on my 2001 f150 5.4 v8. Only driven 1000 km, still works like new. It is important to wrap the teflon tape around the supplied PVC valve manifold while pressing on the intake manifold. If not, it's too loose and will cause a vacuum leak, so put tape on it. Oh, and don't forget to change your spark plugs and coil packs while you're there.

Went straight away. Fits perfectly. I would have given 5 stars but the problem appeared after installation. One of the holes for the fuel rail is not drilled. I didn't want to take it off; So I took it to home depot and drilled it in the parking lot. Works great now. I have replaced the intake with Dorman before and it has lasted 2 years. I hope this one lasts longer.

So far so good, the only problem I had was that when the fuel rail was moved from its original position is removed, a gas leak at the fuel injector seals. and one of the fuel rail mounting screw holes was not fully aligned so the rail shifted when I tightened the screw. And then he hit the gas. I fixed this by enlarging and drilling the hole in the fuel rail after which it lined up properly and there were no leaks.

I received the first one and the box was damaged and partially torn/damaged. Return. Finally installed the part with the correct torque specs and the part still cracked. I don't think this will affect functionality but time will tell. I had to replace the supplied thermostat as it was defective. In hindsight I should have paid more for an OEM part and it was done first time.

Factory intake manifold with threaded inserts for coils and fuel rail. The replacement air intake has no threaded inserts. They give you sheet metal screws to screw into the plastic. The thermostat housing screws do not screw in due to poor construction. The bottom of the replacement air intake is much smaller than the original factory air intake. Don't buy this product, it's Chinese made junk, but that's what you get when you have greedy companies that have everything made overseas with cheap…
