May also need new C-clamps

Easy install on my 99 Explorer. There are no new clips in the kit and the old ones break easily when removed due to age. A pack of clamps costs a few dollars at the parts store.

New window pillars on shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Easy installation. The stands are very hard. Same length and diameter as previously installed. I hope it matures as this is a window glass installation, not a tailgate or hood pillar.

easy to install, negligible travel, closes easily, 2003 Explorer, Eddie Bauer Edition

I haven't installed them on my 2003 Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer Edition as it's a few weeks due to bad weather. But on a bright sunny day, the installation took about 15 minutes. Most of the time was spent looking for a suitable screwdriver. They were a big improvement over those that no longer offered lift, but I noticed immediately after installing that the lift they offered was just enough to make me comfortable opening the tailgate. I think it will be difficult for my wife. The back door now
