works great! Doesn't raise the trunk like some would like, but given the weight of the fender I doubt it will do anything.

I bought these for my 2005 Red GTO and they worked great and were relatively easy to install. A hood assist is a must, but other than that it was a no-brainer. Works great after 3 months.

Perfect for GTO 2006 To remove the old uprights, insert a screwdriver under the clip on the upright and pry out. The clip holds the post in place and once removed makes the post much easier to remove.

Good quality, fits in my car, trunk holds again! Was able to watch a quick 3 minute YouTube video and do it myself with no problems. You will need a long but small flathead screwdriver to remove it, but installation was very easy as it just snaps into place.

Installs easily using a small flathead screwdriver to pry off the locking clip. In doing so I got my last full trunk lower, but it was nice to see only one hand holding the trunk until I could install the other side. I will reset my rating from 5 stars if I feel the hands are failing too soon. Thank you!

One of my frames broke just 2 years ago. I only drive about 3-5k miles a year so that's a poor longevity. Even when they're new, they don't rise very well. I just installed some 614387 Tuff supports and they are great. 4607's strong hands were also highly praised. Both almost lift the trunk lid when opening. Don't waste money on them. They are not very strong and short-lived.
