Strong and Reliable Tailgate Support

This automotive part was exactly what I needed for my truck. The sturdy construction ensured that my tailgate didn't unexpectedly slam shut while loading and unloading cargo. The installation process was relatively easy, and the supports fit perfectly without any modifications required. While the price point is a bit higher than some other options on the market, the extra cost is worth it for the peace of mind and added convenience.

Sturdy and easy to assemble

Blocks keep the tailgate good and tight as much as possible. I think they are slightly larger than the factory .07 commanders and easy to install. Took me about 3 minutes or less each, but I needed my son to support the back door when doing the 2nd side as one isn't strong enough to hold the entire gate. Very happy with them and highly recommend

Used on Jeep Commander 2008: Great for the price tailgate raising shock absorbers

The tailgate only opened to a certain level - lowered from the fully open position. We still had the original strut dampers on the tailgate. We were looking for information on original lift props and came across this set from A-Premium. It's easy to remove previous supports, just replace new supports. Definitely happy with the fix for the price of these A-premium pallet jacks!
