The light from the red dots is brighter and redder than in the photos.

I haven't tried it on foils that I don't need, but I'm always annoyed when such little things end up in drawstring bags! It just makes owning the item that much more fun! As you can see from the picture, the red dot backlight is bright and sharp, which makes presenting much easier! There is also a switch, so if you put it away and accidentally put something heavy on it, it won't turn on the light for a long time and will drain the battery! A must for any professional presenter.

Leading a call center training team, I sometimes feel like I live with a PowerPoint clicker in my hand. They are very well made compared to others in the same price range. (The rounded ones with a pocket clip don't stand up to heavy use.) The buttons click with a distinct click. The laser spot is a bit bigger than others I've used over the years, but I actually like it better, it's easier to see. For those who give presentations professionally, this is the way to go. Disappointed that it doesn't work on TV monitor

Needed a pointer to show detail on a TV used as a large wall monitor. The device works fine on all other surfaces, but is utterly useless when trying to point at anything on this screen. My partner has a different brand of laser pointer that works great on TV screens. Apparently I'm missing a setting when I select one for TVs. Other than that, it's a fine, lightweight pointer, just not for the application I bought it for. This is a good basic laser pointer
