I haven't had time to kill him yet.

I use this timer on my outdoor grill and sometimes I forget to put the lid back on after it has cooled which exposes the timer to all weather conditions. I found it covered in water thinking it was toast but to my surprise it dried out and worked great. This has happened more than once and I'm not sure if it's just luck or a really good timer, but that's my experience. I would buy this timer again.

Huge numbers that are easy to read, glitches on the included test

The only problem was that the battery was dead. I only have AAA batteries in my remotes and they must be dead too. When the batter runs out it just won't turn off, but it's buggy, so I figured something was wrong with it. I decided to just buy new batteries for it and that fixed it. I was about to send it back. So if it is faulty, just try new batteries.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not sure

GARBAGE ! ! ! Free time more than 30%! ! !

I've been using it for months and I think I'm getting an accurate time. I checked it out yesterday and noticed that at 8:00 it jumped to 8:20. Surprised, he kept looking, and every time he hit the minute mark, he jumped 20 seconds. I replaced the battery and put a parallel timer on my watch. Just did a check. 9:20pm on Presto and 2:20pm on my watch. That thing is GARBAGE. It's beautiful and has a huge display, but if you're looking for a TIMER - forget it!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

Mostly good at Timers

My previous Presto timer went in the trash so it's time for something new. I chose this one because I thought big numbers would be great and I could see them from across the room. It really is like that. But I only gave it 4 stars for two reasons. Firstly the magnet doesn't hold almost anything, when I put it on the fridge it slowly slides across the floor. Second, the older version has a clip on the back so you can clip it to your bag or belt. Very very comfortable. It's not like this. Spring.

Nice little timer but not worth $20

I love this task management timer so much I bought it a second time. The first one I had after a while couldn't stand properly because the hinges holding it were wearing out, but I loved it anyway. I ended up damaging my timer through my own fault and bought another replacement which I still use today. I just got the idea of having multiple timers around the house and was looking to buy more, but to my surprise found that the timer is now almost $20! What the hell!? They used to cost about $5…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Mainly benefits of thermometers and timers

It's big (older folks will love it) and quite noisy (again fine for most but maybe too noisy for others). A potential downside is the lack of an hour setting button. You can still get this functionality by holding down the minute button long enough, but for verification purposes I'd say that's a potential issue. The only major issues are the magnet and the support bracket. Both are important given the timer's size/weight: the magnet barely holds the timer in place, and the built-in "bracket"…
