🐦 Wooden Inside Mount Nest Box for Lovebirds - Prevue Pet Products BPV1102 Review

Ordered for Diamond Doves - undersized, cheaply made, stinks, no perch, lid wasn't removable and pressed askew, floor wasn't wood but some weird white laminate. And it has that ugly logo on the front! Super disappointing and way overpriced for what it was. I was expecting to see this in the dollar store! Money back immediately!

I have bought many nest boxes over the years but this is one of the best. It's very well constructed of plywood, with a recess in the center at the bottom to prevent eggs from rolling. It's not too heavy, the front bird hole is the perfect size for anything from finches to lovebirds. Including my parrots. Oh, and the front bar is outside, contrary to what I've read in other reviews.

Okay, that's a great nest, but small for lovebirds. I bought it for my lovebirds and I feel so sorry for them because it's the smallest box I've ever bought, my previous two nests are bigger, much bigger and if you think of two adults having at least 4 i have 5 and all the hatches so it will get very crowded when they are only a few weeks old, a box this size isn't necessarily the size of lovebirds but other than that everything is fine but damn it. They could make it a little bigger and sell…

A couple of lovebirds in my apartment were showing breeding behavior so I decided to give them a little love nest gift. I've had the box for two days now and so far the birds haven't figured out how to sneak into the hole but they bombarded with might and main from the outside. Luckily the exterior is easily cleaned with a sponge, although I'm afraid I've given myself another day job. I've seen a woman chew on the top of the box, but she hasn't done much damage yet.
