This is a really great size for the price. Bought for my green cheek to replace his insecure happy cottage bed. Unfortunately, he doesn't sleep in it like he does in his furry bed, but he likes to play in it and peck at the edges of the grass. This is by far the best alternative to using fluffy litter for any bird as it is natural and does not cause any potential stucking issues. For the price I would buy it again and again as it falls apart and wears out.

Bought for my Sun Conure. At first he did not approach him, and then he sat right inside him. He went upstairs to chew a bit but I put a toy on him so he could concentrate on chewing on the toy, which he did. He loves sleeping in it. This is a great and safe alternative to fabric hutches. My kennel was scared of this for a while but now she's getting used to it and it serves as a great chew/crunch stimulation toy. I would definitely recommend this choice, just be patient with your bird if he's afraid of it at first. It took me almost 2 weeks to decide it wasn't scary anymore. The 2 thin hanging loops are the only part I don't like as they are flimsy and easily chewed, but I just hung them differently to avoid that.

Overall: This is a great product and a great choice. This product is MUCH SAFER to use than the commercially available fluffy polyester hut. I have 2 green cheeked kennels and they love this cozy seaweed hut.
