Quick and easy: Hardware

Arrived quickly. Was an easy replacement for worn and/or broken hardware on my storm door. They fit perfectly and work as they should.

Durable and worthy.

They are great. I had plastic ones and they broke very quickly. Then I ordered these in metal and they work great. And they will last.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

You need to push from bit 10-24.

Supplied with mounting screws. Drill a 5/32" hole in the direction shown and screw in. He doesn't hold up well. You need a threaded hole. You need a #25 bit and a 10-24 tap to make it work.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Quality

Goes well with bronze screen frames

I have recently made new screens after repainting and these clips went well with the 'bronze' (chocolate colored) lower frame profiles in my 1950's casement windows. I have too the aluminum window frames painted bronze.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great for DIY storm windows

Brackets or tabs, whatever you call them, are great for attaching homemade storm windows. All I had to do was buy screws to work on my project. I would buy them again. Now in spring I just have to fold over the tabs and remove the storm windows. No more dealing with plastic wrap. My home has never been warmer or even faster. around the house.

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Problem solved before shipping

I only received 9 of the 12 clamps I ordered plus 12 screws. The Prime Line item's packaging appeared to have been crushed and its side seal broken on one side before being placed in a bubble-lined plastic mailing envelope (see attached image). This envelope was hermetically sealed upon arrival. I received the package on the promised day. Delivery was great. Front handling is not very good. I think you should know about quality control.

  • Slim design

Exactly what we needed

We have a caravan with fly screens that just fit in the window frames. We also have a naughty kitten who found out she could climb the trellis and fall into the camper. After a brief escape, we went in search of something that could hold the screens more securely. These clips are ideal as they hold the screen in place and also rotate so it can be removed. The black color blends into the frame and you can't even see it. You need to get your own screws. We just went to the hardware store and…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Fasteners (bolts?) too short

Everything is fine with this item, but for some reason the fasteners supplied are bolts, not self-tapping screws or even better self-tapping screws metal. The screws will actually work if you already have a correctly sized drill bit and a 10-32 tap to install them properly. But they're also too short - only 1/8" (maybe 3mm or so) longer than the clip itself, at least for the 5/16" clips I've bought. at a hardware store and buy some black screws 3/4" 10-32 long and the necessary bit and tap.
