Piece of shit. good for pocket and double door hardware

The locking mechanism moves in and out, but it also moves from side to side so it can't get caught on anything. There's too much tolerance inside, so it's totally ineffective. DON'T BUY THIS SHIT.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Crumpled Wrap

Need a stronger spring

Keeps popping up with a light touch like the ones I replace. I need to double the springs (reuse the old block's spring) so that it will hold the door when a reasonable force is applied.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Everything is great

Product is good but be careful

It is very easy to accidentally turn the latch back or sideways while working on the door. If it spins it won't work unless you remove the latch and fix it. It's not difficult, but annoying. Better product design will eliminate this potential negative side effect.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons

Simple and Efficient

Easy to install and keep heavy metal frame plexiglass door closed. I used this to replace a much older faulty door lock and the hardware was perfectly spaced making it a simple switch. The screws provided were also of a high quality and I expect this door latch will survive the rest of the bathroom!

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • Upgrades

Is working . for some time.

My shower door was supposed to be magnetic but the magnet no longer keeps my shower door closed. I bought it to keep the door closed but after a few years I had to buy another one. and then another. They don't last very long, but I end up reusing the screws so I have a $6, 5-minute fix every few years.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Weight

Read other reviews.

The thing is complete nonsense. Looks like a latch he had to replace. but it doesn't work at all. The locking piece is not strong enough to lock, so it only opens the door. I'm guessing they're counting on people who think it only costs a few bucks so it could work for them (the original fasteners this thing is meant to replace are incredibly hard to find). Don't buy this. Either find a worthy replacement or another alternative.

Pros
  • class design
Cons
  • exchange possible
