The original charger we bought for our 2012 Chevy Volt is finally gone. Because I didn't want to remake the 40A circuit. I bought this great replacement and had an electrician install a standard dryer outlet and chose this adapter as an option. A few months later it's still working great with the Volt and our 2019 Bolt. I especially like the 30 foot cord length and the ability to swap out adapters for different outlets if traveling requires it. I am very happy with this charger.

We've had our Chevy Bolt for 4 months now and we've been using this cable for overnight charging. This is a great charger and it does the job perfectly. BUT when it comes to Tier 2 chargers, they are not all the same! This charger is 16 amps not 32 amps. Basically there are different tier 2 chargers out there. A 32 amp charger takes 7-9 hours to fully charge but this one with half the amp at 16 amps takes twice as long and takes 15-18 hours to fully charge. Take another step forward.
