🦃 Primos Gobbler Turkey Shaker for Enhanced Hunting Experience Review

Bought for a beginner hunter, I liked it so much I decided to keep it and buy more! So easy to use and very realistic turkey sounds! Love it! I've never had Primos calls not working properly.

Some friends and I go hunting together in Turkey. This call sounds very realistic compared to other calls I've used. So much for being very careful with it when hunting in public when other hunters are around. Great for searching

Tried it out when we got it. Then one of our pit pups got it. The cap disappeared after 3 seconds and there were indentations where you held it where the teeth were, but other than that - it held up to their sharp teeth very well. Just bought another one.

Of all the calls I've collected here at NorCal Forest, this one was the most popular with guests and turkeys. Although it was mistaken for an "adult toy". If you really want to have fun, put it in your friend's carry-on next time he goes to the airport.

It looks and sounds like a sex toy - my father-in-law couldn't get enough of it - this awkward gift walked and moved, laughed and squeaked too long, to everyone's dismay. I can't look my mother-in-law in the eye now. Do not buy as a gift. I repeat: DO NOT BUY AS A GIFT.

Excellent call. Come right over them with that shout and listen to the sound of an angry tome coming your way. Bonus: I have a backup at home in case my wife starts complaining and I just beat her with that call, the kids think it's funny and it really pisses them off but in a funny way.

I don't know what I expected. We have some wild backyard turkeys that I feed and I've tried to devour them to no avail, so I was hoping this might work. As soon as I learned how to use it, I gave it a try. A man looked at me and hummed, but basically they could see through me that I wasn't one of them. Seems like it resonates with the wild turkeys in the woods, but I'm no hunter. But fun!

I've had a lot of different turkey calls and tried this one last season and was very disappointed. I didn't want to write a review until I did my best for others to use. The call only seems to get absorbed when you shake the shit off, which is no good when the turkeys are in sight. It doesn't take much effort to play sounds, but not in this case. Once I was able to get a good sip out of it, the audio wasn't loud and was inconsistent. Very depressing, would not recommend.

So when I first tried to make noise with this thing, they looked more like geese or something. After doing a bit of research I ended up with something like a dying turkey if the one I was chasing might have eaten some fermented pumpkins and been drunk. However, I decided to give it a try. Got out, set it, pulled the bell out and shook it... and with the first shake on the stand, the piece of rubber flew off the bell! Cool... I guess I didn't need a call anyway.
