Judging by the photos, the plastic should be of higher quality; irl it looks like the face of a Fisher Price toy. There's no filter near the spout, so some coffee will likely end up in your cup, but who doesn't love a crunch in their morning coffee? I mean, I don't know, but I'm not everything. Easy to clean, I will give it to him and the pink color is cute. Don't buy if you're a coffee snob, you're making yourself look bad

While the other parts work very well, the carafe itself is poorly made. I had the bottom break after using it maybe a dozen times and always with very careful use and cleaning. The glass at the bottom of the carafe is very thin and cannot withstand even the most thorough cleaning. I reject the French press method as too expensive. It just doesn't make sense that mugs can't be made to withstand gentle and proper care.

This baby is perfect for fueling my coffee addiction. I drink coffee all day and this french press hasn't left my counter since the day I bought it. No point in putting it away if I'll just pull it out again! I bought it for a higher price and I can honestly say that this one is better made and lasted longer considering the amount of use it gets. The design is very nice, which also helps a lot. I am definitely happy with this purchase.

I bought this mug to replace a broken Starbucks/Bodum french press mug. This full press was cheaper than a mug. The print quality of Primula is generally very good. The glass is thick glass and solid. The holder is nicely shaped, feels good in my hand and is durable.
