Perfect Brush

Princeton brushes are the best brushes you can find! I used to have an art supply store and am an artist myself. I think Princeton Art Brushes are better than any other brand and the price is right too! This set is just the right set for the watercolor paintings I'm about to do.

great prize for your future artist.

Good weight and great price brushes for this set. I use them for watercolor and gouache. As you can see from my drawing I posted, I use brushes to paint postcards for all occasions. The brushes hold water well. I have recommended this set to several of my friends. A great set to start your creative journey.

Good quality acrylic brush

Very good quality acrylic brush. Very durable for hard acrylic paints. (Full acrylics are thicker/harder acrylics that are more like oil paints.) Upon investigation, these brushes were found to be the same brushes as the privately owned Master's Touch Flat Firm Synthetic Paint Brushes. almost certainly their top-notch acrylic brushes.

Great investment for beginners

As a watercolor newbie, I did some research on what brushes to get. I wanted something that wouldn't stubble on my paint, but that was also available. The blogs I've read recommended this brand and material and range of brush sizes. I ordered a set and am very happy with the quality of the brushes, their ease of use, ease of cleaning and reshaping, and the effectiveness of the paint application. They were also quite cheap for a set. Very satisfied!

Bouncy and soft: good brushes

Love the feel of these brushes! They are elastic but the hair is soft. I bought these along with three silver tassels and da Vinci Synthetic Nova and so far it's probably a Nova tassel tie. They contain a lot of pigment and water. However, the size is small in comparison. I've used Lowe-Cornell Soft Comfort brushes prior to this brush set and they feel very similar to be honest. Although these last longer. They stay in good shape even when dry. Totally recommended if like me you can buy it at…

Best Brush Set for Beginner Watercolor Painters

As an aspiring watercolor painter, I first bought Princeton Neptune brushes after reading many reviews saying they were the best, followed by the Aqua Elite line. I ended up buying a set of the first Neptune tips. I didn't like them so I bought a set of these Princeton Aqua Elite brushes. After some experience with both, I found Neptune's faux squirrel too soft and flexible for my style. I prefer these Princeton Aqua Elite brushes. They are artificial Kolinsky sable and have a better point…

Elite circles are amazing

I really like these brushes. I have used the 12 Princeton Neptune watercolor brush for many years. It's still my favorite to be honest because it's a very greedy brush, but when I need a brush for a small area or finer detail I now use my round Princeton Elite. I mainly use two cartridges from the set. They hold quite a bit of water each, and while they're not as thirsty as my Neptune, they're better suited to smaller yards or small jobs. I've tried using the flat linen but since it doesn't…

I love these Aqua Elite brushes.

They are a bit stiffer than the Neptune brushes, which imitate squirrel fur. I like it in applications that require a bit tighter control. High quality Princeton brushes. I have no complaints about these. If you want a softer brush with more moisture capacity, I would suggest you go with the Princeton Neptune. Left to right: Rosemary and sable blend for better water retention and softness. Elite Set Princeton Aqua. Note that the #8 Rosemary Sable Blend is slightly longer, slightly fluffier, and
