Saves time and money

I give it five stars as I've had one before and still do. Mine will be here today, I have a jack-up platform with two very large marine batteries powering the lift. I isolated the inverter and charger but my battery is draining overnight. It will be a lot cheaper to fix this than paying someone to find the problem. Before the 4/12/19 update it was doing exactly what it was supposed to do, no more dragging and dropping connection cables. I'll get back to you with pictures. 5-9-19 I also…

Pros
  • No dead battery - prevents battery drain, prevents damage to battery, alternator and electrical system
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Doesn't work on my F-250

Basically the voltage cut off point for Priority Start is lower than what is required to start my F250. PriorityStart installed! ProMax HD 12v car truck battery start protection on my 2002 Ford F-250. I found a voltage leak that I couldn't find and thought Priority Start (PS) might help with dead batteries. I put in a new battery, 800 CCA. Installed the PS - it was easy enough, used a rubber band to attach the block to the battery. The first test was to leave the truck headlights on until the…

Pros
  • Protects the battery - don't dwell on a dead battery, start with PriorityStart!
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - IT IS DANGEROUS!

I installed this product on my 2011 Corvette in May 2018. In January 2019, just 9 months later, IT HAPPENED AND I SHOT IN MY CAR IN THE GARAGE! THIS PRODUCT IS DANGEROUS! The doors are powered by Vettes. In the event of a complete power failure, they cannot be opened, there is no manual control. I slammed on the brakes, tried to honk the horn, pushed a few other switches that should turn the power back on, DID NOT! I am VERY LUCKY, I have a habit of leaving my windows open when I park my car in

Pros
  • Automatic reconnection - just step on the brake pedal or turn on the light switch, any slight load change and the car starts. There is no button to push or lift the hood.
Cons
  • Clarity
