Basically great, but it broke for me.

I don't play by the rules and happily carry my pump with me all the time. I actually have several, one on each bike. A friend of mine recently had a flat tire and I had the pump ready to help inflate the tire but when I pumped up the pen the piston fell out of the pump completely! Something inside seems to have come loose over time. I was able to reassemble it but some of the seals seem to be pinched because it's a lot harder to pump now and I don't really think it will work reliably in the…

Pros
  • Presta and Compatible - Secure valve threads for a tight seal with no air leaks. Not compatible with non-threaded valve extensions. For Presta valves with removable cores, extra care must be taken to screw the core firmly into the valve stem.

Motorcycle Emergency Pump

I bought this as a backup in case I need to replace the camera on the route of my dual purpose bike. This is a last resort as it takes a heck of a lot of pumping to inflate a motorcycle tire with a pump this size. As a test I pumped up the rear tire from 18 to 30 psi and I estimate it took 300 to 400 pumps. It's a little exercise, but like I said, it's for emergencies. The build quality of this thing is surprisingly good. I think it's up there with pumps in the $30-$40 range. The hose is…

Pros
  • The pump won't rattle or get lost thanks to our secure frame mount with optional seat belt. Important: The pre-drilled holes in the bicycle frame are required for mounting the pump bracket.

Great pump! to accessory

I was looking at several pumps that would fit my new XC bike and finally settled on this one. The best decision I've made this year. (Well, the decision to retire was pretty good too, but it's definitely a close second.) The pump is indeed a high-performance unit, but without excess bulk. The machined aluminum outer tubes give you a sense of strength and durability. NEVER buy a pump that doesn't have a flexible hose, but this one has a smart hose that fits both common valve stem types. The hose
