Essentially a pocket for your bag. Plus, it folds compactly into its own storage bag, which features a Velcro strap that attaches almost anywhere in your backpack. The material is waterproof but remember it works just like a shower cap. When in your backpack, your backpack is protected but inaccessible unless removed.

Item arrived exactly as described. Fits perfectly in my 23 liter backpack as if made for it. I tried it on another 25L backpack but it wouldn't stay. Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of using it in the rain since I received it but the product is well made and I have no doubt that it will protect my backpack from bad weather. *Update: Works decently in the rain. Some moisture gets in and it tends to slide off the top of my pack, but overall it works very well. would recommend

Shortly after I bought it and used it once, I wrote a review on this product for the first time. Since then I have used it several times and my opinion has changed. This is a good backpack cover, but if it rains non-stop for a few hours while hiking in the woods, for example, the inside can get damp. Can't tell if it's leaking, but somehow the inside of the case gets wet and my backpack was wet. Size: It's basically a big circle. It's not, and it needs to be longer than it is wide to easily fit

Ordered 35 for my 5.11 24 hour rush backpack which (after some googling about 33 liters - 5.11 says nothing). Velcro was missing. Strap - someone else said it here - maybe I got your return :) ?
