High visibility pose

Great pose at a great price. I swim in open water in a canal where there are many boats, so this was a must for me. The float is very easy to use and very noticeable to others. The only problem that pulls off the star is that the loop has a tendency to fall out of the float, which is kind of a pain. I swam with him about half a dozen times and he never got in my way. I just wish there was a way to connect the loop around your waist to a float.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some bugs

Strap Quick Fix

I too sat and stared for a minute contemplating how to attach it... but just thread the end and then the rest of the strap through this loop. Presto! I've attached pictures as nobody had them and many people complained or even claimed it was unusable. A simple solution. Apart from that - it's overpriced. Left inflated when tested. Easy to use. Never had one so not sure how the quality compares but was happy with the price so hope it lasts :) Seems to be exactly what it should be.

I'm glad I bought it! Best in Sports

My husband liked that he could see me clearly when I was swimming in the lake. The lake is often visited by boats, kayakers, fishing boats, etc., so visibility is important for the individual swimmer. Seems strong enough. I didn't like the strap - there was nothing to attach it to the plastic handle. After reading the last few reviews I think you might be able to pull it off. Luckily I had a carabiner which I used to attach it. Would definitely buy again and will if anything happens to it.

  • Handsfree

  • Some Flaws

Great product, great price.

I pulled the lifebelt until I was told that sometimes it wasn't very noticeable. Sailors tell me they see it much better. I was concerned it wasn't big enough for me, but it works great. Excellent quality, well made, the inflation tube has a great design. I don't swim as much as I like considering the pools are closed but still swim in the open water. I can take a break just by holding onto the water, but I can even lie on my back or take a seated position in the water. It also has to goโ€ฆ

This is my second buoy and I like it a lot more than my old one. Inflation takes only a few breaths and deflation is a breeze. The waist belt is adjustable and unlike my old buoy it attaches to the buoy with a simple strong loop whereas my old buoy was attached with a plastic hook which kept coming loose during my swim sessions. This buoy is a very bright safe shade of yellow and really stands out in the open water between the waves. I prefer this color to orange and hope it makes me visible to

Difficult strap but I figured it out in the end

I am very happy with the float. It's easy to inflate and makes me visible to riders who scare me. So why two stars? The strap was confusing, at least for me, and it took me some time to figure out how to assemble it. It would be as easy as attaching a small piece of paper with instructions or even a YouTube video URL. . I just can't imagine why these guys didn't do it, especially since this issue has been reported in both other reviews and questions. I'm not the first to bring this up. Pleaseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No instructions

I bought this for my husband to swim in Long Island Sound for two main reasons: the price and the many positive reviews. He opened the package while I was away and was so frustrated at the lack of instructions that he insisted on returning it to a more expensive competitor. I asked myself to take a look before we made a hasty decision and within five minutes I figured out how to attach the belt to the float. (It was a bit confusing. PS) Anyway, we didn't talk about it, but he used it a fewโ€ฆ
