I got my kit and it is quite nice. BUT, there are no instructions on how to assemble the easel. There are no YouTube videos that I could find with this exact model. It’s semi assembled but I have no idea how to take it apart and open it up without it coming completely dismantled. Any thoughts from anyone? If I can figure out how to assemble the easel I will probably change my rating to a higher star level.

I was searching for a French style easel for plein air painting and this one was the best price. When compared to others I came across on line and in stores, this one was less and included canvases and paints, and more. It came pre-assembled. It was a little tricky to figure out how to unfold the legs and which bolts to loosen and tighten. And one of the bolts had come loose during delivery and was at the bottom of the box. I got this as a birthday gift and love it. I am new to painting and this easel came with everything a beginner would need. The easel is adjustable which is really nice and the fact that you can store things inside helps if you have limited storage space or tiny humans that would for sure ruin brushes if they had easy access to them.

Overall I am very happy with this kit, but I would recommend some instructions or a diagram of how to set up the easel. If you haven't used a french style easel before then it is a bit confusing. Once I got it all set up I was very happy with it. I particularly like that I can move it up and down depending on the size of my canvas or where I am painting.
