My Perfect Selfie Stick

I needed a selfie stick to shoot videos with my girlfriend and I with my Canon M50 and an 18-150mm lens (even the L lens which is much heavier ) but I offered selfie sticks. I don't see well in Revain, I've seen all the selfie sticks here but no one gave me the confidence to securely mount my DSLR and wasn't afraid my camera would land on the floor. The base mount is 3/8" and comes with a 1/4" adapter. With this head I found what I was looking for with my excellent tripod: MATERIALS: Giotto's…

Works great on mic pole

I paired it with the Assets Painter Pole Studio adapter to create a Rhode mic pole to which I can adjust the angle of the mic. I also had to purchase a set of 5 screws to convert from 1/4" to 3/8" (3 different length adapter set), Desmond camera tripod sockets to attach the mic to the mini ball head, and some velcro straps to hold it in place the microphone cable. to the pole. lengths-Desmond-Bushings/dp/B00JHPXG0K?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01http://www.amazon.com/c…

Well made, feels very secure.

When it comes to your camera, don't risk a poor quality mount. ♦ Quality construction. ♦ Supports up to 4.4 lbs. ♦ Convenient locking handle for ball head, nut wing. ♦ 3/8" mount with pre-attached adapter (3/8" to 1/4"). ♦ Height 2 inches ♦ The camera can be rotated 90 degrees (put it completely on its side). When I use this ball head I feel like my camera is secure and doesn't slip off. Remember to remove the thread protector (black plastic cap on the end of the screw) before use (black…

7 years later I still use them in my work

7 years later I still use them reliably in my work. The best thing about these mini ball sockets is that they are compact, have good holding capacity and also come with an adapter sleeve to accept 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounts. These devices are attached to the PhotoFlex LiteDome XS base to which my Canon 580EX and PocketWizard are attached. It's a good weight, but I've attached this rig to a Manfrotto Super clamp, a light stand, and any number of attachment points and it worked surprisingly well,

Reliable product for camera and photo

I ordered this mini ball head to use with my monopod and top level scope. It fits both a monopod and a camera as a standard mount. It feels tight and secure. Don't worry, it won't support the weight of my camera. I was able to successfully position the camera in any direction I could think of, and it held that position throughout the shoot. A few points to note: only one screw that tightens both left and right rotation of the camera, as well as up and down angle. From a functional point of…

Very effective, great for tripods and monopods

I was a little hesitant to order as it's not a heavy version. For my application it is perfect. It bolts onto a 74" Manfrotto 5001B Nano stand, replacing the Manfrotto 001B (black) and has a mini ball head, then an ePhoto SB800 flash adapter for 1/4-20 threaded shoe mount with a RadioPopper RPCube Canon version , then a Canon Speedlite Flash 580EX II for Canon EOS digital SLR cameras. I prefer to use the ball head than the flash's tilt and rotate functions. They cannot be pointed down and this…

Great light ball head. I use it for my external flashes

Okay, just because it says "professional" doesn't mean it will hold 10lbs. Putting an expensive/heavy DSLR or lens on it will get you into trouble. That's called common sense. It's like that 400-pound woman who sued the chair manufacturer — the chair was rated for a maximum weight of 220 pounds, and she decided to buy it anyway — and crush it. Yes, this is a professional quality ball head - with a maximum weight limit of about two. pounds It supports my 580EXII flash with no problems. This also

High quality and DURABLE mini ball head

Giotto mini ball head SMALL and light but strong. In fact, it's so strong that it can support the weight of a heavy DSLR and lens. I tried using this ball head with a Manfrotto 680B monopod and an Arca-Swiss plate for my Canon 7D (with a 17-55mm f/2.8 lens) and it held the weight with no problems ( the installation is within the specified range). The load capacity of this ball head is 4.41 lbs). But just because you can doesn't mean you should. This ball head is best suited for compact cameras,

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Fits tripod heads

> Great SMALL ball head perfect for use with SMALL cameras and other small gear > Nice > Well made. IDEAL FOR SMALL CAMERAS. Perfect fit for my ultra compact monopod. (7 oz.) Norazza Monopod - Lightweight TD140 (ball head body diameter same as monopod and same black color). This summer I used a head, a monopod and a tiny Nikon 8200 in Yellowstone National Park for 20 days and was able to get crisp photos of a red fox that was probably 1,000 feet away (for a 35mm camera that's a 600 -mm
