Buyer Warning! Bad product!

Not impressed at all! The item pictured is not a received item, and the item received is backwards and will only work with one type of spring. My husband, a mechanic with 30 years experience, was very upset with the product received and we are returning the product in hopes of a refund.

The measurement is wrong!

The tool seems a bit confusing but the main problem is that the measurements are wrong. If your mount is at the top of the tool, you'll need to subtract about 0.100". adjust height. This information doesn't come with the tool at all and isn't available anywhere, not even in their videos, which is crazy. I will return them

Pros
  • Country of Origin: China

seems easy to read and accurate when checked with.

I have just received this micrometer and have not used it yet. However, it appears easy to read and accurate when checked with calipers. However, I would be grateful if I knew how deep the interior step is. It just so happens that small Chevy mounts don't sit on top of the microphone; Instead, they sit on the inner step. With a step detent, the user must subtract the step depth from the specified height to get the true height of the spring. So it would be very helpful if Proform published this…

Pros
  • Packaging unit: 1
Cons
  • Security
