Make this your first mod.

Bike is about half an inch lower. Handling is great, cornering is much tighter. Have them on the slackest setting of a 200-pound rider. This must be done. Dispose of factory scrap filled with oil.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great Gear: Shocks

Purchased to replace air shocks on Road King. These things were full of holes and I had to constantly air them out. These shock absorbers significantly improve driving performance. Just a few short rides and (light) adjustments and I'm perfectly happy with it. Harley must install this first. Are you wearing a rider that you don't normally wear? Just nudge the setting a few clicks for a stiffer ride and you're done.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Upgrades

Progressive, Sux Customer Service

I called Progressive's engineering department prior to purchase and was told that my 04 FLHR received a 13" shock. I bought a Revain and after installing it found that the shocks lifted my bike. tried to make an exchange and even contacted progressives for smaller shocks. No deal! Once worn they are non-refundable so obviously they expect me to pay again for a different set. Haha I'll get rid of them and also return the frontend system Bought to get another brand. Good hits, bad service.

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
